Coaches encouraged

to report scores to the

Cherokeean Herald

The Cherokeean Herald encourages coaches of local scholastic sports teams to report their scores to the sports department for publication.

Scores and stats may be e-mailed to chreporter@mediactr.com, phoned in to (903) 683-2257, ask for Leland Acker.

Scores and stats should include score by quarter and individual scoring. High resolution pictures are accepted via e-mail or walk in.

Deadline for sports is 10 a.m. Monday. For more information, contact Leland Acker at (903) 683-2257 or email chreporter@mediactr.com.

Wells Pirates travel to

Chester Friday

The Wells Pirates and Lady Pirates varsity basketball teams wil travel to Chester to play at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14. The teams continue non-district play Dec. 18 as the Lady Pirates travel to Laneville and the Pirates host Chireno.
