THIS WEEK final phase of completion This Saturday, recipients from the Dream Tree project will pick up their gifts that were made possible by the generosity of others. "More than 189 needy children and senior citizens were served this year," said Rusk Chamber of Commerce Manager Connie Brown. "Everyone has been so generous. We are overwhelmed how kind this town is." Even though gifts have already been purchased, the chamber is still accepting monetary contributions. "Occasionally there are people who need help that we find out about late," said Ms. Brown. |
