District 20-AAA All-District football team named

Trent Vaught was the lone Eagle to make the starting line-up of the District 21-AAA football team this season. Horrace Lewis made second team offense as a running back and Matt Davis was second team offensive lineman. Quinn Anthony was named to the second team defensive line, while Nick Bradshaw, Kenny Trotter and Jared Colville received honorable mentions.

High honors went to Si'Darius Blackshire of Carthage (MVP), Ketaraus Stanton of Diboll (Offensive Player of the Year), Rodney Chadwick of Carthage (Defensive Player of the Year) and Antonio Johnson of Diboll (Newcomer of the Year).

Notable opponents of the Rusk Eagles were honored, as Jacolby Spencer of Diboll was named first team quarterback, J.J. Hayes of Diboll was named first team receiver, Tavares Allisn of Carthage was named first team receiver and Cuu Duong of Huntington was named second team running back. Rusk finished with a 2-8 record, 1-4 in District 20-AAA.
