Teacher bonuses

Rusk Elementary School teachers who received bonuses for perfect attendance were Sarah Massingill (left) and Darla Moore. The checks were presented by Rusk ISD Boardmember Rodney Hugghins. Every year, Rusk ISD rewards teachers with bonuses which are enhanced by perfect attendance, tenure and school performance, among other considerations. Rusk Elementary School bonus checks were also enhanced because the school earned the "Recognized" accreditation designation by the Texas Education Agency.
