ELTON SESSIONS

Funeral for Elton (Buddy) Sessions, 56, of Jacksonville was at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ben Terry and the Rev. Louis Dickey officiating. Burial was in Myrtle Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Sessions was born Nov. 15, 1951, in Cherokee County. He died Nov. 17. He was a retired truck driver with Henderson Clay Products. He attended the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mamie Sessions; and sister Virginia Sue Armstrong. Survivors are his father, Pearl Elton Sessions of Ponta; sons and daughters-in-law Michael and Lorie Sessions, Wesley and Jennifer Sessions of Kilgore; daughter, Stephanie Sessions of Edmond, Okla.; four brothers, Donald Guinn, Kenneth Sessions and Jimmy Sessions, all of Jacksonville and Lee Roy Sessions of Ponta; four sisters Margaret McKinley of Henderson, Mary Martin of Whitehouse, Eva Rocha of Ponta, and Ella Faye Martin of Flint; six grandchildren; mother of his children, Vivian Sessions of Henderson; and special friend, Lynette Berry.

Pallbearers were Richard Overman, Thomas Overman, Keith Kuykendall, James Jones, Dewayne Bobbitt and Pete Terry.
