Old Palestine Cemetery Assn. plans meeting

The annual meeting of the Old Palestine Cemetery Association will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15. All officers and members are urged to attend and other interested parties are invited.

Members are reminded that it is almost time to pay dues.

Band Boosters slate meeting for Nov. 12

The Rusk Band Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 at the Rusk Band Hall.

This meeting is on the second Monday instead of the regular first Monday of the month.

All persons interested in the band are invited to attend.

St. John's fall bazaar is Nov. 10

The annual fall bazaar at St. John's United Methodist Church will be 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. The church is located at 2020 Beaumont St., Jacksonville.

This will be a shopper's delight including crafts, resale shop, bake sale, cartoons for youngsters and a spaghetti lunch at 11 a.m.
