OLAN PRYOR

Funeral for Olan Pryor, 85, of Jacksonville, was at 2 p.m. Friday in the Renfro Memorial Chapel of Boren-Conner Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Nunnally officiating. Burial was in West Shady Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Pryor died Oct. 23. He was born Nov. 29, 1921, in Cherokee County to the late Floyd and Ivy Pryor. He served in the Army Air Corps, and lived in Houston prior to moving to the Jacksonville area in 1982. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Nora Pryor of Jacksonville; a daughter, Carla Pryor of Jacksonville; and eight sisters, Nita Dover and Ophelia Williams, both of Rusk, Juanita Tuscana, Wilma Magers and Doris George, all of Jacksonville, Dolores Cameron of Sherman, Adelle Benge of Palestine, and Lena Yarbrough of Dialville.

Pallbearers were Doyle Edward George, Brent Stanelin, Dale Dover, Bobby George, Allen Yarbrough Jr., Curtis Cameron and Kelly Yarbrough.
