RHS homecoming is Friday night at Eagle Stadium
Traditional bonfire is tonight at 8 p.m.

Rusk High School homecoming activities are planned for this weekend. Homecoming activities will include pregame

coronation ceremonies at 7 p.m. Candidates for homecoming queen are seniors, Melissa Blank enship, Brittney Session and Rachel Simmons.

Miss Blankenship is the daughter of Herb and Nancy Blankenship. She will be escorted by Pritesh Desai, son of Dejay and Rita Desai

Miss Session is the daughter of Travis and Lynell Session and the late Angie Tyler. She is escorted by Jermey Lavergne, son of Karen Lavergne.

Rachel Simmons is the daughter of Kim and D.C. Simmons. Her escort will be Ryan Ross, son of Glenda and Mike Ross.

Homecoming duchesses include junior class representatives Calah Clark, daughter of Mallory Dosser and Mike Clark and Shintevia Foreman, daughter of Cabrina Session and L.B. Fulce.

The duchesses will participate in homecoming activities at 7 p.m. Friday at Eagle Stadium.
Miss Clark will be escorted by Blake Reed, son of Darla and Kenneth Jennings. Miss Foreman's escort will be Lonnie Gipson, son of Lonnie Ray and Kathy Gipson.

Sophomore duchesses will be Christa Adams, daughter of Melisa Adams and Chris Adams; Amber Parker, niece of Tonya and Ray Foreman and Rubie Sparks and granddaughter of Nathaniel and Mona Holmes; and Jessica Russell, daughter of Michael and Julie Russell.

Miss Adams will be escorted by Colton Campbell, son of Shanna and Joey Bowman and Clint Campbell. Miss Parker's escort will be Kadrick Session, grandson of Sandra Carter. Miss Russell will be escorted by Micha Guynn, son of Greg and Stacy Guynn.

Freshmen duchesses include Paige Penn, daughter of Tammy Light and Raysha Sadler, daughter of Randy and Terri Sadler. Miss Penn will be escorted by Patyn Woody, son of Anita and Jack Woody. Miss Sadler's escort will be Kyle Guel, son of Darren and Jeannette Vaught.

RHS bonfire

Other homecoming weekend events will include a homecoming bonfire at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24.

The bonfire will be held on the building site for the new high school gym, across from the student parking lot at the high school.

Eagle Drive will be closed to through traffic during the bonfire as the street will be used as the stage area. Fans are asked to park in the auditorium parking lot, or near the tennis courts and walk to the student parking lot to watch the bonfire.

Chili supper

The annual RHS Alumni Association chili supper will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the high school cafeteria. Tickets for the homecoming night supper are $5 and take out orders will be available.
