30 new members join Cub Scouts

Rusk Cub Scouts Pack 405 has registered 30 new boys. The pack overall total is 52. Cubmaster is Tawnya Lack and Assistant Cubmaster is Aimee Fortune. Persons who would like to register their son for Cub Scouts may call Cubmaster Lack at (903) 574-7640.

The Tiger Cubs boys den for first grade boys is led by Landon and Lindsey Fowble. There are 10 new boys in this den.

The Wolf Cubs den for second grade boys is led by Ashley Petty. There are four new boys with a new total of seven cubs. The Bear cubs den for third grade boys is led by Megan Morris. They have 10 new boys, which brings their total to 19 members.

Webelos I Den for fourth grade boys is led by Bobby Burch and Kelly Garner. They have five new boys, bringing their den total to 10. Webelos II for fifth grade boys is led by Kelly Clay. They have two new boys, bringing their total to six.

The annual Cub Scout popcorn fundraiser began Oct. 15. The "Mom and Me" campout at Camp Pirtle will be Oct. 26-27. This camp-out is just for the moms and their boys. This is the first camp-out since new boys have signed up.

The Second Annual Community Derby will be Nov. 10. There are six lanes for the 42-foot derby track with a digital timer and a new projection TV.
