Jerrie Kellar Cleaver is Manley speaker
Mrs. Cleaver's presentation is entitled "If the Shoe Fits: Life's Little Lessons on Dressing Our Feet." The lecture is free and is open to the public. Mrs. Cleaver was born in Jacksonville to Gerald D. and Mary Lou Nunn Kellar. She attended public schools in Jacksonville, graduated from Jacksonville College and Baylor University with a Bachelor's degree in English. She also received certification as an accredited record technician from Tacoma Community College, Tacoma, Wash. and a Master of Science degree in counseling psychology from the University of Central Texas. Mrs. Cleaver has the professional designation of Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). She began her career as a medical record librarian (now called a health information administrator) at Newburn Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville. Mrs. Cleaver has served for the past eight years on the Jacksonville College Board of Trustees. As a trustee, she also served on the Administrative Committee for the Baptist Missionary Association of Texas. She is active in the American Health Information Management Association, having served in Texas as the District 16 president. She married Tony M. Cleaver in 1967. They reside in Ding Dong, Texas, and her mother, Mary Lou Kellar, lives with them. The Cleavers have two children and their spouses, Amelia and Michael Hartman of Dallas and Max and Brandie Cleaver of Harker Heights. There are two grandsons, Elliot and Silas Hartman. |
