Politicians seem to forget whom they serve
ROSE MARY JONES Rusk

It is really surprising and alarming that our politicians still haven't gotten the message that they are voted into office to work together and do what is best for our country regardless of what party it is.

I watch some of the politicians slamming one another on TV and still can't believe that this happens in our political system, which is getting worse. What makes it so bad is they are educated people who should respect and honor the office they represent and be grateful that they have the opportunity to serve their country and be a good example.

We have serious problems in our country that need to be corrected. To name one, the border which is wide open for terrorists. With these serious problems around us and our politicians acting like undisciplined children wanting to be our next president, that is really a scary thought. Who would be worthy of such an important office with a display of bad manners and conduct right before our eyes on TV each night.

We all need to do a lot of praying for a sensible responsible Christian man who is really experienced in all areas of running a country so we won't have to give up our freedom here in the U.S.A. and fight terrorists on our own soil. Remember that our forefathers believed in God and the Bible - our country was based on that principle.
