Rusk resident dies in 1-car accident
Laura Geisleman, 19, of Rusk, died in an one-vehicle accident at approximately 6 p.m. Monday on State Highway 110.

Miss Geisleman, a student at Tyler Junior College, was en route home from classes. She also was employed at the Rusk Pizza Hut.

She apparently lost control of her vehicle and left the rain slick road hitting a tree. The accident occurred approximately five miles south of New Summerfield.

Trooper Bruce Bradley was unavailable at press time Tuesday.

Justice of the Peace Vera Foreman pronounced Miss Geisleman dead at the scene. Gallatin and New Summerfield Fire Departments assisted.

Services are pending at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk.
