Youths learn at Ag Day

Cherokee County Farm Bureau sponsored an Ag Day Sept. 10 for the fourth graders in the Jacksonville ISD at the Texas Forest Service. There were 382 students and 20 teachers attending. The eight exhibits included Jason Ellis with Texas Forest Service, Ted Hunt with Earle's Chapel VFD, Game Wardens Paul Gluck and Brian Bearden, Master Gardeners, Joe Daniel, Louraiseal McDonald, Renee` McCracken, and Jack White of the extension office, Oncor representatives Davis Collier and Richard Saunders, Farm Bureau Exhibit Jodie Smith-Goff, and The Mobil Dairy with Aaron Sanders.
