RHS students tell plans for the future
Mr. Nickle said he is active in FFA and the marching band. He has taken piano lessons for seven years. He plans to attend SFA and receive an agriculture related degree. Miss Dement said she plans to seek scholarships to help with her becoming a lawyer. Mr. Avant said, "with a $30,000 scholarship to Texas A&M to my belt, I plan to be a band director and mechanic." Miss Collins hopes to go to college on an athletic scholarship. Mr. Goodman plans to do his homework every day. He is in the wildlife program in ag and plans to become a professional bass fisherman. Miss Monk is in the choir and plans to go to Tyler Junior College, transferring to University of Texas at Tyler, where she will receive a masters degree in nursing. Mr. Marchetti is involved in numerous activities and groups. He is president of the Rusk FFA and the Pineywoods District FFA vice-president. He is an officer in the student council and participates in band and academic UIL. Miss Ochoa has been in student council for two years. After graduation she plans to attend Tyler Junior College and take a nursing course. She also plans to take a cosmetology course. She said she wants to work in cosmetology when pursuing her degree in nursing. |
