MARVIN D. GEORGE JR.

Graveside for Marvin D. George Jr. 50, of Jacksonville will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Meador Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Rambo officiating.

Mr. George died Sept. 30. He was born June 29, 1957, in Jacksonville. He was a member of the Sunset Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, L.H. and Nellie Buffalo.

Survivors are his wife, Cathy L. George of Jacksonville; four children and spouses, Ray and Lisa Cantu of Houston, David Michael and Christie George and Monica Yvonne Perez of Jacksonville and Robert Duane and Michelle Morgan of Gallatin; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Tony Alverson of Richmond, Va., Loran and Twila George of Reklaw and Bobby Lee and Vickie Turner of Jacksonville; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Sarah Redford of Jacksonville, Carla and Mac McNertney of Frankston, Marsha Jones and Sheryal and Randy Berry, all of Jacksonville; his mother, Jeannie Oakley of Jacksonville; his father, Marvin D. George Sr. of Reklaw; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Davis George; 12 grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Nephews were honorary pallbearers. Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
