Kiwanis sponsors rodeo

The Rusk Kiwanis Club will sponsor the Pee Wee Rodeo during the Pioneer and Heritage Festival, Oct. 13 at Jim Hogg City Park. This event is open to all buckaroos six years of age and younger.

"The Rusk Kiwanis Club is honored to be asked to sponsor this event. Kids are our focus and what a way to help kids have fun and show them what a rodeo is all about," said Wayne Guinn, rodeo chairperson. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and entry fee is $5. All entries will receive a stick horse and be eligible to participate in the grand entry at 11:30 a.m. and all rodeo events including barrel racing.
