Teacher will participate in art show
Arthur Sekula has been selected to participate in the 60th annual River Art Show and Festival in San Antonio.

The show will be in the historic artisans' village of La Villita Oct. 6-7.

Mr. Sekula is a watercolor artist. He teaches sixth-12th grade art in the Rusk Independent School District.

His most recent exhibits include: "We the People" an Artist's Response, showing in New Haven, Conn. through Sept. 30; Rhode Island Watercolor Society's 14th Annual National Watermedia Competition - 2007; Breckenridge Fine Arts Center 2007; and Georgetown Festival of the Arts.

Mr. Sekula, a native of San Antonio, makes his home in Jacksonville. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1989.His featured works may be seen online at asekulafineart.com.
