50th anniversary celebration
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Stewart will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 4-6 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Oakland Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Stewart and the former Melba Ferguson were married Oct. 2, 1957, at Jacksonville College. Their children and spouses are Rex and Argie Stewart of Oakland, Bruce and Linda Stewart of Maydelle, Sherry and Randy King of Oakland, Roger and Charlotte Stewart and Trent Stewart, all of Maydelle. There are 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. They request no gifts.
