Dinner at Alto fire station

benefits child

A benefit spaghetti dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 15 at the fire station in Alto. A "love donation" may be made to Hannah Collie, a three-year-old Alto toddler who is hospitalized in Dallas following a heart transplant.

A silent auction will be held after the dinner. Kristy Davis, one of the event's organizers, said that Hannah may have to stay at Children's Medical Center for three-to-five months.

Recent fundraisers in Alto include a singing and a road blockade. Mrs. Davis said more than $10,000 has been raised. A fund has been established at Bancorp South. To make a donation, send a check to P.O. Box 430, Alto, Tx. 75925 and mark "Hannah Collie" on the check. She is the daughter of Jason and Amanda Collie of Alto. For more information, call Kristy Davis at (936) 240-1358.
