Dinner will benefit cancer patient

A benefit Jambalaya dinner is planned for noon- 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Rusk First United Methodist Church. Tickets are $5 each and may be purchased from DeeDee Rigsby by e-mail cdrigs@peoplepc. com. All proceeds will go to a local resident and his family. The man has been diagnosed with lung cancer and has no insurance. There will be a blood drive that same day beginning at 11 a.m. Orders for the dinner and information on the dinner and blood drive may be obtained by calling (903) 683-1995 or (903) 810-7380.
