Girls' Cross Country team finishes 3rd in Crockett

The Rusk varsity girls' cross country team finished 3rd in the Crockett meet Saturday. Finishing for Rusk were:

Grace Castillo 10th - 15:55
Chelsea Kinser 18th
Jessica Russell 22nd
Lainey Upshaw 24th

The varsity boys cross country team also competed in the Crockett meet Saturday. Running for Rusk were:
Tony Torres 14th - 21:34
Lance Smith 21st - 23:09
Matthew Pyle - 33rd
Brad Christopher - 34th

The junior varsity girls competed in the meet with the following competing:
Nelcy Hernandez 17th
Jordan Magrueder - 18th
Mikala Summers - 33rd
Devin Caron - 34th

The junior varsity boys had four athletes compete in the Crockett meet. Running for Rusk were:
Kodi Jennings - 22nd
Paytn Woody - 24th
Cory Montgomery - 28th
Blaine Wood - 30th
