A heartfelt thank you to our small town family

Hannah Collie, the three-year-old daughter of Jason and Amanda Collie of Alto, recently received a heart transplant at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. Family members report she is improving since the surgery.

As you all well know, our baby girl Hannah has received her heart. She was on the transplant list for 47 hours when we got the call.

What an amazing miracle from God. We know nothing about the donor or the family, but we do know that they gave the most precious gift they could.

Just as God did with Jesus, they gave their baby or part of it so our child could live.

We have prayed without ceasing for this family and we ask that you please do the same.

Part of their baby lives in ours and we hope to share Hannah with them some day. We wanted to take a little time to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything being done for us.

It is amazing to see and hear the things that our small town folks are doing for us. From prayers to donations to mowing our yard - we can't express the appreciation we feel.

"Thank you" is certainly not enough. We can't wait to be back at home for good in about three-to-five months with a pink, happy, energetic little girl to share with you all. We love you all and thank you so much for everything.
