A tall order on Main Street

A 100-foot tower

sitting atop the roof of

Whitehead Enterprises

caused a portion of Main Street to be closed

for a couple of hours

Friday morning. The tower, which sends a

radio signal from the

studios of KWRW-FM

and KTLU-AM to a transmitter and tower on

FM 2972, was recently

de-commissioned. A new tower was erected

on top of Guinn Hill.
