Brandon Walker graduates Aug. 11 from SFA

Brandon DeShawn Walker, son of Djuana Denise Walker and grandson of Betty and Larry Walker, graduated Aug. 11 from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in art and creative writing. During his college career he participated in art clubs and helped produce literary magazines. Some of his art works and literary pieces appeared in the literary publications. He was named to the National Dean's List twice.

The Rusk High School graduate of 2003 plans to attend graduate school and work in the art field.
