Democratic Club slates banquet, silent auction

The Cherokee County Democratic Club will sponsor its fall banquet and silent auction at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at Lon Morris College's Wilson Administration Building, 800 College Ave., Jacksonville.

Texas Democratic Party Chair Boyd Richie will deliver the keynote speech. Gov. Howard Dean, chair of the Democratic National Committee and Democratic presidential candidates will send messages. All East Texans are welcome.
