Christ the Redeemer Academy begins Aug. 27

Registration for the new school year at Christ the Redeemer Church's Christian Academy is underway. School begins Aug. 27. School hours will be 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8 a.m.- to noon Friday. Before and after school care will be available from 7:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. Christ the Redeemer is in the pre-licensing stage for ages two-four.

The church meets at 10 a.m. every Sunday in the downstairs fellowship hall for an informal Bible study taught by Dr. Orval Mosley. He will begin teaching a series based on Watchmen Nee's book, "Sit, Walk and Stand." Coffee and doughnuts will be available. After Bible study they meet upstairs in the sanctuary for praise and worship followed by a sermon from Pastor Debra McCormick. She will start a women's Bible study group in September. She will use Henrietta Mears' book, "What the Bible is All About." For more information contact the church office at (903) 683-1404.
