1-vehicle accident
Driver fatigue appears to have contributed to an early-morning accident Tuesday on U.S. Highway 69 between Rusk and Jacksonville. Andrea Ford, 23, lost control of her Plymouth Neon as she travelled southbound near the Cherokee County Electric Co-op. First responders to the accident were members of the Rusk Volunteer Fire Department. Department of Public Safety trooper Thomas Bledsoe investigated the accident. Ms. Ford was transported by ambulance to ETMC Jacksonville and was treated and released.
