Canoe race postponed
      The 17th annual Wilderness Canoe Race has been postponed from Aug. 4 to Aug. 25 because of the flooding on the Neches River below Blackburn Dam. The 22-mile race will begin below Blackburn Dam at Lake Palestine and end on the U.S. Highway 79 bridge.
