HELEN HOLLAND KELSAY Funeral for Helen Holland Kelsay, 95, of Jacksonville, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug, 8 at Thompson Funeral Home chapel with Phil Smith, Jack Holland and Vicki Ford officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Mrs. Kelsay died Saturday in Pittsburg. She was born May 4, 1912, in El Paso. She was a homemaker and member of Central Baptist Church. She was a charter member of Thaddeus Beall Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, member of the Jacksonville Garden Club, Embroidery Guild and graduate of Okenobo O'Hara School of Japanese Flower Arranging. She was preceded in death by her husband Col. J. D. Kelsay whom she married in 1936. Survivors include son Andrew Jack Kelsay and wife Marion of Winnsboro; one granddaughter, Jana S. Stephenson of Midlothian, Va., four great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, Vincent Cremeans of Carrollton and Leanne Cremeans of Emory; niece Jan Salvato of South Carolina and cousins. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Jack Holland, Bill DeWeese, Max Odom, Jack Kelsay, Vincent Cremeans, Ben Sage, Bill Ingram and Wade Stephenson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday. |
