School registration scheduled

Rusk High School registration set

Rusk High School registration times have been announced. Registration for 10-12 grades will be from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Senior will register Monday, Aug. 13. Juniors will register Tuesday, Aug. 14 and Sophomores, Wednesday, Aug. 15.

Freshmen will register on Aug. 16. All freshmen should attend orientation beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the high school auditorium. After orientation is completed, freshmen students will pick up registration material and schedules until 3 p.m.

New students in grades 10-12 will register beginning Monday, Aug. 20 and continuing through Thursday, Aug. 23. New ninth grade students should attend the orientation and register on Aug. 16. New students will need to bring the most current copy of transcript, report card, shot record, birth certificate, Social Security card and proof of residence.

Juniors are urged to pay prom dues of $20 at registration.

Rusk Junior High registration set for Aug. 14-16

Registration for all incoming sixth, seventh and eighth graders will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 14-16 and from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 16. All students will receive their schedule upon registration. New students should bring a birth certificate, a social security card, immunization records and verification of residence. For more information, call (903) 683-2502.

Rusk Intermediate School registration set for Aug. 13-16

Registration for Rusk Intermediate School (grades fourth and fifth) will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 13-16 at the campus located on Loop 343. All new students must register and provide proof of residency, birth certificate, social security card, immunization record and previous school records.

Rusk Elementary School registration set for Aug. 13-16

Registration for Rusk Elementary School (grades second and third) will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 13-16 at the campus located at 900 N. Henderson St. All new students must register and provide proof of residency, birth certificate, social security card, immunization record and previous school records.

Rusk Primary School registration set for Aug. 2

Registration for Rusk Primary School (grades Pre-K through first) will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 2 at the campus located at 440 Collins St. All new students must register and provide proof of residency, birth certificate, social security card, immunization record and previous school records. Pre-K students must show verification of income.

Meet the teachers scheduled for Aug. 23

Parents and students are invited to meet their teachers, see their classrooms and bring school supplies at Rusk ISD's Meet the Teacher event from 4-6 p.m. on Aug. 23 at Rusk Primary, Elementary and Intermediate Schools.

Alto registration set

Alto High School and Middle School will pre-register students entering grades 5-12 on Wednesday, Aug. 15 and Thursday, Aug. 16.

Registration schedule for Wednesday Aug. 15 is 9-11 a.m. seniors at the high school and eighth grade students at the middle school and 1-3 p.m. juniors at the high school and seventh graders at the middle school.

Schedule for Thursday, Aug. 16 includes 9-11 a.m. sophomores at the high school and sixth graders at the middle school; 1-3 p.m. freshmen at the high school and fifth graders at the middle school.

Class schedules and locker assignments will be distributed to students on those days. Building hours will be from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. each day beginning Aug. 6.

In the event hours posted are not convenient or students/ parents have questions or concerns, counselors and principals will be available during those hours.
