JIMMY BEASLEY

Funeral for Jimmy Beasley, 49, of Aransas Pass, formerly of Jacksonville, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Richard Smith and the Rev. Philip Warren officiating. Burial will be in Meador Cemetery. Mr. Beasley died July 27. He was born Feb. 11, 1958, in Overton. He was an air controller, a realtor and previously a rural mail carrier at the Rusk post office. He was a gunsmith at Frankston and a Baptist. Preceding him in death was his father, James Gordon Beasley.

Survivors are his parents, Allene and Travis Meador of Jacksonville; two sons, Jason Beasley of Jacksonville and J.T. Beasley of Maryland; a sister, Kimberly McDuff of Jacksonville; his grandmother, Rachel Meador of Jacksonville; niece and nephew, Brandi DeMarco and Trent O'Neal; and greatnephew, Dylan Ferrell.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Horton, Joe Bixler, Doyle Beasley, Paul Galyean, David Dennis, Weldon Lightsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Taylor, Jay Taylor and Chad Griffin.
