Gridiron fever is highly contagious
Only cure for affliction is season tickets to see the 'home team'

Gridiron fever is sweeping Cherokee County and there is only one cure for the affliction: acquiring season tickets to see all the games this season.

In Rusk, expectations are rising in hopes that the Eagles can show their dominance in both the regular season and extended rounds into the playoffs.

When asked his expectations on the Eagles season, Rusk High School Principal Ricky Hassell simply stated, "We're going to the playoffs, all the way."

The Eagles' first home game is against Van at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7. Other home games include Westwood on Oct. 5, Huntington on Oct. 26 and Crockett on Nov. 9.

Season football tickets go on sale on Aug.13 and may be purchased for $20. Individual game tickets may also be purchased for $5. If you would like to purchase tickets or receive any additional information on Rusk High School football tickets, you may contact Ricky Hassell (903) 683-5401.

Jacksonville and Alto ticket

Jacksonville season tickets are currently on sale to the public. Season tickets cost $25 per person for all five home games and will continue to be on sale through Aug. 17. Seats may be reserved by calling Deena Brand at (903) 586-2131.

Alto season tickets are on sale to those who held season tickets last year. Cost is $37.50 for chair-style seats and $25 for bench seats For those who had purchased five-year tickets, cost is $25 per seat.

Season tickets go on sale to the general public Aug. 13 on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are on sale at the Alto ISD Administration Building. Information is available at (936) 858-7101.
