The Rusk Diamondbacks took second place in the TTA Machine Pitch district baseball tournament July 9-13. More ... LMC to hold basketball camp The Lon Morris College Bearcats basketball team will hold a basketball camp on from 9 a.m. to noon, Aug. 1-3 at the Lon Morris Gymnasium. The camp will teach the fundamentals of the game of basketball and is offered to boys and girls ages 7-14. Registration fee is $50. More ... Eagles win 2 at UT-Tyler The Rusk High School summerleague basketball team chalked up back to back wins on July 17. Rusk defeated Troup 52-35 and Brownsboro 58-50. The Eagles are 9-1 in summer league play and are coached by former Eagle Jordan Beard. Tracy Kincade is the head basketball coach at Rusk High School. More ...
