RAY E. WHITE

Funeral for Ray E. White, 89, of Jacksonville will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Corbie Grimes and the Rev. D.L. Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Meador Cemetery. Mr. White died July 22. He was born Nov. 18, 1917, in Reese. He was a retired truck driver for a shipyard and a Baptist. He served in the U.S. Army. Preceding him in death were a son, Marcus White and a brother, Howard White.

Survivors are his wife, Mittie White of Jacksonville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Cindy White of Gonzales, La., Clayton and Carol White of Jacksonville, Byron and Tina White of Elkhart and Ralph and Brenda White of Weatherford; two brothers and a sisterin law, Jolly J. White of Lindale and Robert N. (Pete)and Louise White of Karnack; a sister, Maxine Gray of Jacksonville; six grandchildren one greatgranddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Corey White, Bradley White, Howard White, Bobby White, Casey White and Don Wallace.
