Caboose moves to park

Caboose No. 359 will be m moved to the Whitehead Heritage Park on U.S. Highway 69. New Birmingham Resources distributed dirt for the location. Plans are to use the caboose as a focal point for a "Welcome to Rusk Home of the Texas State Railroad" outdoor sign. Mayor Angela Raiborn k signs a lease agreement allowing the Rusk Chamber of Commerce to operate the Whitehead Heritage Park. Penny Reynolds, chamber president, offers $1 as the annual lease money.
