Alzheimer's seminar set in Rusk

An educational seminar, "Alzheimer's: Knowledge Provides Strength and Power" will be held from 8:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the Cherokee County Electric Cooperative Association, 29880 U.S. Highway 69, Rusk.

Family caregivers, healthcare professionals and all who are interested are encouraged to attend.

The cost of the seminar for those seeking contact hours or continuing education credit is $35.

The cost of the seminar for attendees not seeking credit is $15.

Nurses will receive 4.8 contact hours, licensed professional counselors will receive 4.75 contact hours, social workers will receive 0.475 contact hours and speech language pathologists will receive 4 contact hours.
