WILLIAM M. (BILL) WEBB

Funeral for William M. (Bill) Webb, 79, of Jacksonville was at 10 a.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home chapel with Chaplain Kenn Somerville officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Mr. Webb died July 1. He was born June 30, 1928, in Bon Weir, Newton County. He retired from Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, Wash. in 1985 with 30 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army and was discharged in 1947. He farmed in Jacksonville for 10 years and sold at the Farmers' Market.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Bertha Bell Myers Webb Keys and William Palmer Webb; brothers, Truman, Ed, Roy and Sam; and sisters Bertha and Bonnie Mae.

Survivors are his wife of 55 years, Billie Jo Webb of Jacksonville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Sue and Larry Woolridge of San Antonio and Loujuana and Tim Church of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; one great-greatgrandson and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were David Michael George, James Paul George, Robert (Bob) Morgon, Marvin D. George Jr., Chris McNertney and Nathan Rutherford.
