Historical preservation workshop planned at Palestine Aug. 4

The City of Palestine Historical Landmarks Commission will sponsor a free workshop for owners, contractors, tenants and those interested in old houses and buildings.

The event will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 at the Palestine Civic Center, 1819 Spring Street, Loop 256, in Palestine.

A free lunch will be provided to those who register by Aug. 1. Concessions will offered for sale.
