Bowden trial date postponed

Trial date for a suit filed by the City of Rusk against Kevin R. Bowden and his father W.R. Bowden has been postponed pending further legal consultation.

City Manager Mike Murray said Tuesday morning that the Bowdens have filed a countersuit with 29 different claims against the city. Information concerning the claims was not available at press time.

He said he did not know when the case would be scheduled for trial.
