Wells ISD forms PTA

Wells Independent School District Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is being formed. Bylaws are available for review in the Wells ISD offices. The first general meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 30. in the school cafeteria. Bylaws will be considered at that time. Dues are $10 per year and may be paid at the Meet the Teacher from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23 or at the general meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30. Officers of the Wells PTA board are Michele Melton. president; Amanda Scroggins, vice-president; DeAnn Selman, secretary; and Cathy Grayson, treasurer.
