JESSE LEE IRBY

Funeral for Jesse Lee Irby, 15, of Rusk was at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Rusk Church of Christ with Robby Arrington and Marks Lanham officiating. Burial was in Walker Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home. Mr. Irby died June 19. He was born Oct. 16, 1991, in Jacksonville. He was a lifelong resident of Rusk, a member of Rusk Church of Christ and a sophomore at Rusk High School.

Survivors are his parents, Kieth and Terri Irby of Rusk; two brothers, Chase Christie of Jacksonville and Brian Irby of Rusk; grandparents, Arthur and Nadine Locke of Jacksonville and Mary E. Irby of Rusk; great-grandmother, Faye Locke of Jacksonville; numerous other relatives.

Pallbearers were Brent Oliver, Steven Stafford, Austin Powell, Micah Guyen, John Trotter and Kodi Jennings. Honorary pallbearers were Glenn Garner, Shaun Powers, Kris Sinclair, Kyle Sinclair, Colton Walker, Devin Roberts and Zack Hudson.
