It's time to renew pest license Rainfall has been plentiful following a long hot and dry spell, and now an overabundance of rain that should do more than jump start lawns and gardens. Over the past few weeks the area has had more than a fair share of "weed" issues with garden and forage producers alike. René McCracken, cooperative extension agent, said most of the more effective and better valued products for weed control require a pesticide applicators license. Persons interested in obtaining a license or a list of fees and required course materials, may contact Ms. McCracken at (903) 683-5416 or lrmccracken@ag.tamu.edu. Date and time will be announced as soon as there are 10 or more participants. |
