New officers are Maxine Pierce, president; Mrs. Davis, vice-president; Waldine Walker, secretary; Mrs. Graham, treasurer; Mrs. Mathis, parliamentarian. Melva Hermes will serve on the telephone committee.

Program suggestions for the new year were given which included a visit to the composting facility, trips to view day lilies and alpacas and interesting yards of members. The December meeting will be at Birmingham Nursing Home.

The club will not meet during the summer. The next meeting will be Sept. 26.

Refreshments were served by Mrs. Pierce and Mrs. Walker.
