Couple tells wedding plans

Kristi Vaught of Rusk and Frank Dobrovolny

Kristi Vaught of Rusk and Frank Dobrovolny of Smetana announce their engagement.

They will be married June 23 in Jacksonville.

Ms. Vaught is the daughter of Carolyn Turner of Rusk, and the late George Coody. She is a graduate of Moody High School and attended Stephen F. Austin State University.

Ms. Vaught is employed at the Cherokee County attorney's office. She has two daughters, Karli and Emily.

Mr. Dobrovolny is the son of Janet and Antone Dobrovolny of Smetana. He is a U.S. Navy veteran, a graduate of Texas A&M University and South Texas College of Law.

His law office is located in Jacksonville. The couple will reside in Rusk.
