Eight Eagles go All-District

Senior Brent Jones hits a grounder during a district game this season. Jones was an honorable mention on the 2007 All-District team.

Despite a 5-9 district record, eight Rusk Eagles landed on the District 20-AAA All-District baseball team.

Chance Davis was named 1st team in the 1st base position, while Pax Richey earned 1st team infield honors.

Stephen Halbert was a 2nd team All-District pitcher, while Trent Vaught was named 2nd team catcher. Adam Hicks was 2nd team All-District infield.

Brent Jones, Kyle Garner and Cody Daniel were All-District honorable mentions.

The Eagle baseball team is coached by George Banda.
