R. C. SWINNEY

Funeral for R.C. Swinney, 77, of Jacksonville, was at 2 p.m. Thursday at Thompson Funeral Home with Al Parr officiating. Burial was in Tecula Cemetery.

Mr. Swinney died May 28. He was born June 11, 1929, in Cherokee County. He was an auto mechanic and a member of the Corinth Road Church of Christ.

Survivors are a brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Mona Swinney of Jacksonville; and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Leldon Scruggs, Frank Scruggs, Carroll Bettis, Jackie Warren, Coy Scruggs and Wayne Bolton.

Honorary pallbearer was Loy Junior Scruggs.
