Fair on the Square kicks off summer fun

Winners of the Mr. and Miss 50s Pageant at the Fair on the Square were (from left): Caleb Ferrara, Braxton Brockman, Alondra Rojas, Cheyenne Brockman, Hope Jinkins, Mya Gunter and Kirsten Kirby, with her mother Janna Kirby. The Fair on the Square was held May 26, on the downtown square in Rusk. The fair featured a dunking booth, a jail, a bounce house and a water slide. Fair visitors line up for cold lemonade and various treats at a food booth. The Fair on the Square, held May 26 in downtown Rusk, featured a rock-climbing wall, free train rides on Charlie the Choo-Choo, a sock-hop, The Mr. and Miss 50s Pageant and food and vendors. This year's theme was the 1950s.
