Couple notes anniversary

Cynthia and Joe Boatman

Cynthia and Joe Boatman will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 3 with family and friends at a reception at First United Methodist Church in Mansfield.

Hosts will be their children, Bobby and Kim, Larry and Terri and Todd Boatman. Mr. Boatman and the former Cynthia Henderson were married June 1, 1957, at Mount Zion Methodist Church in Alto. They have lived in Fort Worth and Mansfield most of their married life.

Mr. Boatman is retired and enjoys playing golf. Mrs. Boatman is employed at the church as receptionist.

They enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, traveling and church activities.
