BERTHA TERRELL

Graveside service for Bertha Mae Terrell, 88, of Jacksonville, was at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Cemetery at Dayton with the Rev. David Hallum officiating under the direction of Autry Funeral Home.

Mrs. Terrell died May 15. She was born Aug. 23, 1918, in McAlister, N.M. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper and a member of the Church of Christ. She was a member of several bowling teams in Jacksonville and Palestine and participated in several state and national tournaments.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Cecil Ross Terrell; her parents, Miner and Quirl Thompson; a granddaughter, JoAnn Heard; two sisters, Mary Jane Thompson and Imogene Wilson; and two brothers, Ernest and Alvin Thompson.

Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, Loyd and Gail Terrell and Roy and Glenda Terrell, all of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, James Terrell, Reuben Terrell and Waynen Terrell; two greatgrandchildren; Ty Terrell and Åutumn Terrell; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were H.B. Smith, Bill Richardson, James Terrell, Reuben Terrell, Wayne Terrell, Ty Terrell.
