LOUISE S. MCMINN

Funeral for Louise S. Mc- Minn, 81, of Rusk, was at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Wallace- Thompson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Don Copeland officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery.

Mrs. McMinn died May 9. She was born Nov. 8, 1925, in Columbia, Miss. to the late Errol and Dorothy Smith. She was a Rusk resident for 12 years and formerly resided in New Orleans, La., Woodbridge, N.J. and Tuscaloosa, Ala. She was a Baptist. She had a diverse work record ranging from school administration to comptroller of a major magazine producer.

She is preceded in death by her son Jan Branton McMinn. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, J.B. (Bill) McMinn of Rusk; a son and daughter-inlaw, Robert E. and Tracee Mc- Minn of Odessa; one grandson, Hunter McMinn of Odessa; and one granddaughter, Jessica K. McMinn of Tampa, Fla.

Pallbearers were Dan West, Wayne Josey, Robert E. Mc- Minn and William Vaughn.
